Customers of the family-owned company in Baden-Württemberg requested connected and intelligent systems that they could access via a computer or a smartphone.

Solution

Ziehl-Abegg and Deutsche Telekom developed the ZAbluegalaxy IoT platform based on the Microsoft Azure Cloud. It visualises temperature, vibrations and electricity consumption.

This not only enables customers to save service costs, but also reduces downtimes. Furthermore, the system provides operating data that can be used to optimise the systems and processes.
