Hardware

Webportal
Asset data is sent via the wireless network to the Web portal for Admin. There it is stored and evaluated. All information can be accessed via dashboards or an optional ERP Web interface.

Mobile App
The mobile service app not only scans beacons etc. on-site; it also provides access to further information such as position data on a digital map.

Construction: Digital Construction at Otto Heil


Challenge

The construction company Otto Heil lacked an overview of its on-site formwork systems and construction machinery. It was unable to utilize existing assets efficiently because it did not always know where they were.


Solution

Otto Heil equipped its assets with Bluetooth beacons. These smart devices are connected with a central IoT platform via the Internet of Things and relay their position data wirelessly to the cloud.

Machines and formwork systems can be utilized optimally and periods of use are easier to bill. A theft warning system with geofencing also facilitates better control over the company’s property.

Logistics & Transportation: Smart Parking Management at Dethleffs


Challenge

Dethleffs was looking for a way to keep an eye on the location of motorhomes and chassis on its works site. Employees used to look for them with paper lists and handheld scanners, which was time-consuming and held up production.


Solution

A Syfit tracking solution connects backend and mobile scanners. When employees scan a vehicle the scanner relays its GPS position to the cloud. This data can be accessed everywhere by smartphone or Web browser.
